The 4 vintage beer glasses are over 40 years
old and have been packed away and stored
for
almost that long in Alla's mother's house.
They originally belonged to her grandfather
during
an age when beer did not come in
cans or pony bottles but in cases of quarts
and delivered to the house by the
brewery
in Philadelphia (Schmidts). Back in this stone
age milk was also delivered to the door and
farmers came by with horse drawn wagons
of watermelons and other fruits and veggies.
